Kilusang Mayo Uno Labor Center believes that when workers organize themselves, they become a potent force, not only inside the workplace, but in society as well. A labor movement, with strong organization serving as its backbone, not only succeed in their struggle for just wages, job security and union rights inside the workplace, but serves as the torchbearer for the whole people's movement seeking a just and humane society.
