Greetings of peace, justice and human rights from the Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU or May First Movement Labor Centre) in the Philippines! KMU, in collaboration with MIGRANTE – International, an alliance of migrant Filipino workers and their families, are seeking your support in joining us in protest against the November 27 arrest of three Migrants' Trade Union (MTU) leaders in Korea.

Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), the Philippines’ independent labor centre promoting genuine, militant and patriotic trade unionism congratulates the unions in Australia and the Australian Labor Party on your recent victory in what you all have made a landmark election for national leadership on November 24 for workers, the people in Australia, and everywhere.

The Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) Labor Center slammed the declaration of a State of Emergency by Pakistan President Pervez Musharaff last Saturday, November 3, 2007 who cited the need to "curb extremism" as the reason behind the imposition.

The Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) Labor Center slammed the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID) blacklist labeling more than 500 foreigners as “terrorists” linked to Al-Qaeda and banning them from entering the country, including United States of America (USA) -based Atty. Brian Campbell and his organization, the Washington-based International Labor Rights Forum (ILRF).
